Eurasian Economic Union issued China aluminum foil anti-dumping final ruling disclosure

On January 24, 2025, the Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued a report on aluminum foil originating in China. Final anti-dumping investigation disclosure (see Notice No. 2025/428/AD39), ruled that there is dumping of the products involved, and the dumping constitutes material damage to the Eurasian Economic Union, so it is recommended to impose anti-dumping duties for a period of five years, of which, Xiamen Xiashun Aluminium Foil Co., Ltd. The tax rate is 19.52%. Shanghai Sunho Aluminum Foil Co., LTD. Ltd. was 17.16%, and Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials Joint Stock Co., Ltd. and other Chinese producers were 20.24%. The products in question are aluminum foil rolls with a thickness between 0.0046 mm and 0.2 mm, a width between 20 mm and 1616 mm, and a length greater than 150 meters, whether backed or not, whether coated or not. Products under the Eurasian Economic Union tax codes 7607 11 110 9, 7607 11 190 9, 7607 11 900 0, 7607 19 100 0, 7607 19 900 9, 7607 20 100 0 and 7607 20 900 0.
Interested parties should submit comments on the case by 10 February 2025.
On March 28, 2024, the Eurasian Economic Commission launched an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum foil originating in China.
