The testing center of Yuefeng Aluminum Materials Institute Suzhou Branch successfully passed CNAS on-site review, expansion and change review

On August 10, 2024, the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) appointed three evaluation experts to form a review team to conduct a 2-day laboratory accreditation review of the testing center of Yuefeng Aluminum Materials Institute Suzhou Branch, and simultaneously carried out an expansion and change review. On the basis of the original recognized capabilities, the testing center of Suzhou Branch successfully added 7 new testing items, involving a total of 10 standards.
According to CNAS-CL01 "Testing and Calibration Laboratory Competence Accreditation Standards" and related rules and documents requirements, the review team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the laboratory from the aspects of management system requirements, resource requirements and process requirements through data access, field tests, field questions, and instrument and equipment configuration verification. The review team highly appraised the management system operation, technical capability, personnel level and equipment configuration of Suzhou Branch, and recommended 7 expanded test items and 7 changed items involving 10 standards in the five professional fields of mechanics, physical properties, microscopic, chemical and corrosion.
Suzhou Branch will take the CNAS review as an opportunity to earnestly summarize and refine experience, accelerate capacity building, continue to improve the testing service system, further expand the scope of testing services, provide more professional, more timely and higher quality internal and external testing services, and continue to expand brand influence.
