The United States made the first double reverse sunset review of aluminum wire and cable

On March 11, 2025, the US Department of Commerce issued a notice saying that the first anti-dumping and countervailing rapid sunset review of Aluminum Wire and Cable imported from China was final: If the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled, the dumping margin of 63.47% of China's products involved in the case will continue or reoccur; If the countervailing duty in this case is cancelled, the subsidy of the products involved in China will continue or reoccur at a tax rate of 33.44% to 165.63%.
On October 12, 2018, the US Department of Commerce launched an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation into imports of aluminum wire and cable from China. On October 22, 2019, the US Department of Commerce made anti-dumping and countervailing final rulings on aluminum wire and cable imports from China. On November 4, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into aluminum wire and cable imports from China.
