The US threatens to further impose 50% tariffs on China. China: If the US goes its own way, China will accompany it to the end!

The Chinese side noted that on April 7 Eastern Time, the US threatened to further impose 50 percent tariffs on China, which China firmly opposes. If the US escalates tariffs, China will resolutely take countermeasures to safeguard its own rights and interests.
The so-called reciprocal tariffs imposed by the US on China are groundless and a typical unilateral bullying move. The countermeasures China has taken are totally justified to safeguard its own sovereignty, security and development interests and maintain the normal international trade order. The US threat to escalate tariffs against China is a mistake compounded by a mistake that once again exposes the blackmailing nature of the US, which China will never accept. If the US goes its own way, China will accompany it to the end.
China reiterates that there is no winner in a trade war and protectionism has no way out. Pressure and threats are not the right way to deal with China. China urges the US to immediately correct its wrong practices, cancel all unilateral tariff measures against China, stop its economic and trade oppression against China, and properly resolve differences with China through equal dialogue on the basis of mutual respect.
