This is another important breakthrough made by Yuefeng (Suzhou) Lightweight Research Institute in the field of high strength and toughness casting aluminum alloy new materials after Yuefeng registered 6D10 deformed aluminum alloy brand last year, which highlights Yuefeng Group's firm confidence and determination in creating "innovation Yuefeng" and "science and technology Yuefeng", as well as its strong continuous innovation ability in expanding aluminum applications.
Yuefeng 356Y.1 alloy not only takes into account the high strength, toughness and corrosion resistance, but also realizes the remarkable improvement of alloy fatigue performance, and the comprehensive performance of the alloy has reached the world advanced level. Yield strength ≥270MPa, tensile strength ≥335MPa, elongation ≥8%, fatigue strength ≥110MPa (10^7 cycles, R=-1), and excellent corrosion resistance. Compared with the traditional A356 alloy yield strength increased by more than 20%, fatigue strength increased by more than 15%.
The alloy can show excellent service performance under complex stress, high temperature and cyclic load conditions, and has been applied in the control arm, steering knuckle and subframe of new energy vehicles with excellent comprehensive performance, and will be extended to the chassis and key components of the power system in the future to provide reliable guarantee for new energy vehicle parts.
