Yuefeng Aluminum Materials Institute led the release of two aviation aluminum alloy residual stress test group standards

Recently, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and the China Nonferrous Metals Society approved the release of the group standard announcement. Led by Yuefeng Aluminum Materials Application Research Institute, the drafting of the "Aluminum and aluminum alloy thick plate residual stress test method slit warping method" and "Aluminum and aluminum alloy sheet deformation and residual stress test method slit warping method" two group standards were officially released.
 
The processing deformation caused by internal residual stress is a world "problem" that troubles the industrialization application of aviation aluminum, and is also the key to the effective control of processing deformation of domestic aviation aluminum. Yuefeng Aluminum Material Application Research Institute innovatively proposed the "slit warping method" residual stress test theory, and realized the ability of continuous testing to obtain the residual stress distribution from the surface to the heart of aviation aluminum alloy sheet. "Aluminum and aluminum alloy thick plate residual stress test method slit warping method" compared with the standard stripping method commonly used by foreign airlines, the test process through a continuous test of the material warping amount after one clamp, significantly reduce the error caused by repeated clamping positioning, significantly improve the test efficiency.
 
The preparation unit of these two team standards covers the main development, production and application units of aviation aluminum alloy materials in China, and its release marks that the residual stress test method of aviation aluminum alloy thick plate and thin plate developed by Yuefeng Aluminum Materials Institute has a high maturity, and has been widely recognized in the industry, and has the conditions for widespread application in the industry.
