Recently, Yuefeng Aluminum successfully produced a large-size new high-strength and tough aluminum alloy square ingot for the first time in China, which provided ingot guarantee for the subsequent rolling research of the new product.
The alloy has the advantages of light weight, high strength, good tensile property and low price, but it is easy to crack, slag inclusion and other abnormal conditions in the forming process, which will lead to scrap of the ingot.
In order to solve the molding problems, Yuefeng Aluminum set up a technical research team, implemented the whole process of melting and casting tracking, strengthened process control, continuously accumulated data, adjusted parameters, designed and optimized process methods, and finally succeeded in trial production.
