The EU launched the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into rolls of aluminum foil to China

On June 3, 2024, the European Commission published a notice stating that the European Union enterprises ALEURO Converting Sp.z.o.o., CeDo sp.z.o.O. The application submitted by ITS B.V. on 4 March 2024 to initiate a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into Aluminium Foil in Rolls originating in China to examine whether dumping of the product in question and injury to the domestic industry in the EU would continue or recur if the existing anti-dumping measures were lifted. The EU CN codes of the products in question are ex 76071111 and ex 760719 100 (TARIC codes are 7607111111, 7607111119, 7607191011 and 7607191019). The sunset review dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, and the industry damage analysis period is from January 1, 2020 to the end of the dumping investigation period.
On December 20, 2011, the European Union launched an anti-dumping investigation on rolls of aluminum foil originating in China. On March 13, 2013, the EU made a final anti-dumping ruling on the case. On March 13, 2018, the European Commission launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into rolls of aluminum foil originating in China. On June 5, 2019, the European Commission made the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on rolls of aluminum foil originating in China.
