The period of anti-dumping tariffs imposed by Vietnam on Chinese aluminum profiles has been extended to October 2029

Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade ruled to extend the period of anti-dumping duties on some aluminum products originating in China until October 2029, with rates ranging from 2.85 percent to 35.58 percent.
 
According to the China Trade Relief Information Network previously reported that on January 11, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam launched an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum profiles originating in China. On September 28, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam made a positive final ruling on the case and began to impose anti-dumping duties of 2.49% ~ 35.58%. On November 18, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam launched the first mid-term review investigation of the case. On April 20, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam made the first interim review final ruling on the case, adjusting the anti-dumping tax rate of the products involved to 4.39% ~ 35.58%. On June 10, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam launched the second interim review investigation on the case. On January 19, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam made the second interim review final ruling on the case, adjusting the anti-dumping tax rate of the products involved to 2.85% ~ 35.58%. On October 3, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Notice No. 2537/QD-BCT, launching the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on aluminum profiles originating in China.
